The GLOWFUR winter jacket from Nebulus made a very good overall impression in our test. The women’s jacket is available in different colors and sizes . It has a full-length zipper, a lined hood and closable pockets on the front. For our test, we received the jacket in the color eggplant and in size S. The jacket fits our tester very well. The material quality and workmanship were just as impressive as the jacket in the practical test. This shows that the jacket fits comfortably for a long time, the smooth outer surface is extremely water-repellent and the inner lining of the jacket keeps you pleasantly warm.

In our case, the GLOWFUR winter jacket from Nebulus was delivered together with other products in a sturdy shipping box. The shipping box was undamaged and could be easily opened with a knife or scissors. The shipping box was also optimally sized, as it was filled to the top. This protects the environment: not only is the amount of material required for the shipping box minimized, but the small space required by the package also ensures better utilization of the transport vehicles. The product packaging inside the box included the GLOWFUR winter jacket. The product packaging consists of a transparent plastic bag in which the GLOWFUR winter jacket was packed. The film is tear-resistant and cannot be stretched. A Nebulus logo is printed on the front of the packaging. There is also a sticker with a barcode and the product name and size of the jacket. There are warnings on the back that the bag poses a choking hazard. The information is available in four languages, including German and English. ℹ️ Before we start the practical test, we take a close look at the product processing. How high quality are the materials used? Is the look and feel satisfactory?

For our test, we received the GLOWFUR winter jacket for women in the color eggplant. In addition to this color, Nebulus also offers the jacket in other different colors. The purple color of our test jacket is very elegant and gives a subtle and timeless look.

The outside of the jacket is made from typical winter fabric, which is extremely fine, wrinkle-free and even . The inside of the jacket, on the other hand, is made of white faux fur, which does not line the sleeves, but only the inside of the upper body. The faux fur is thick, very soft and offers optimum comfort. The faux fur also feels very good against the skin.

The front of the winter jacket can be opened along its entire length with a zipper . The zipper is red, with a black pendant attached to the opener.

There are two more pockets on the front in the stomach area, which can also be closed with a zipper. Easy-to-grip tags are attached to the zippers. The winter jacket does not have a collar, but a hood.

The outer fabric of the jacket is relatively thin, non-stretchy and tear-resistant. However, the lining is thick to provide good insulation. The seams are all even and clean. There are hardly any protruding threads and, if there are any, they are very short. Apart from this, there are no other manufacturing faults to be found on the jacket.

Overall, the GLOWFUR winter jacket with its different colors and Nebulus patches is a discreet and fashionable piece of clothing. The quality of the fabrics used, the seams and the overall finish are also impressive.

The GLOWFUR winter jacket is sold in various sizes between S and XXL. For our test , we received the jacket in S. The women’s version in S fits our tester, who is almost 165 cm tall, very well, with room for a few extra centimetres of height. The winter jacket fits well on the body. The length is also suitable and the jacket ends at the right height.
The jacket sits very comfortably even after long periods of wear. As the jacket consists of two layers of fabric with a lining in between, it keeps you very warm. Nevertheless, the jacket is relatively light. When the zipper is closed all the way to the top, the jacket fits snugly around the neck. The zipper can also be easily operated with gloves thanks to the pendant .
In our test, the pockets on the stomach proved to be very useful. Unfortunately, there are no pockets on the inside. From our point of view, however, it would have been practical to have one, for example to store valuables.
Ideally, a winter jacket should be water-repellent . We therefore tested the jacket by spraying the surface with water. This is where the smooth surface can show its advantages: it proves to be extremely water-repellent. The water rolls off immediately and falls to the ground. The surface of the jacket cannot be wetted with water and does not absorb water. This keeps the inside pleasantly dry.
In the last part of our practical test, we wash the winter jacket according to the manufacturer’s instructions. For the GLOWFUR jacket, this means an easy-care wash cycle at 30 °C without drying and ironing, which corresponds to the usual specifications for comparable garments. Unfortunately, washing at 60 °C, as would be recommended after sporting activities or heavy soiling, for example, is not possible. After washing, the jacket smells of the detergent used, but otherwise there is no noticeable difference. The jacket survives the washing procedure without damage or fading.
Overall, the GLOWFUR winter jacket impressed us in our practical test. It is very comfortable, keeps you very warm, is highly water-repellent and also withstands washing without any problems.
