The GOODS+GADGETS® brand laundry folding board, also known as the Dr. Flip & Fold professional laundry folder, promises the perfect folding solution for laundry in just a few steps. The 3rd generation of this folding board should now be able to fold thick sweaters and light jackets in addition to the usual shirts and T-shirts. Our tests show the advantages and disadvantages to give the end user a transparent overview.

The packaging of the laundry folding board looks compact, but unfortunately does not manage entirely without unnecessary packaging waste. A more environmentally friendly solution, e.g. recyclable cardboard packaging, would have been desirable. The laundry folding board and operating instructions are included in the scope of delivery. However, the latter is written in small print and is not very informative, so further information had to be found on the Internet.

The laundry folding board makes a good visual impression, but assembly requires some skill and the hinges are not easy to snap into place. Nevertheless, the workmanship is solid and the material is stable. Due to the quality, a longer service life can be expected. The laundry folding board is made of plastic.

Our practical test shows that the folding precision is given, but an additional “handle” may be required for larger shirts from XXL upwards.
The user-friendliness is good, but a video on YouTube before the first use could be helpful . The size and compatibility of the folding board is relatively good, but some improvisation is required for XXL garments.
The ergonomic design makes handling easier. The folding board is light and compact, but a handle would be desirable for more comfortable transportation.
In summary, it can be said that the GOODS+GADGETS® laundry folding board has many positive features and largely lives up to its advertising promises. However, some points of criticism could be remedied by improving the packaging and design. Overall, however, the laundry folding board is a practical solution for folding laundry quickly and neatly and saving space in the closet.
