In our test, the HIKENTURE brand gloves proved to be a reliable and useful partner for all outdoor activities in the cold season.
Thanks to their high-quality materials, the gloves not only keep your fingers warm, but also reliably protect them from wind and water. Thanks to their excellent wearing comfort and additional padding for the palms, this product is particularly suitable for cycling. The reflective outer material also offers additional safety in sometimes confusing road traffic. The gloves also score points for the ability to operate a touch display through the gloves. In our practical test, however, we unfortunately found that this function can only be carried out with the thumb without any restrictions, as the sensitive material is attached to the side of the other fingers.
Nevertheless, the gloves finished with a very good overall result and are therefore a clear recommendation for anyone who wants to avoid cold fingers when cycling in the future.

ℹ️ Here we take a closer look at packaging. Sustainability is becoming an increasingly important factor. In addition, adequate protection of the product must of course also be guaranteed. Are the contents of the packaging complete and does the manufacturer make it as easy as possible for me to use the product straight away?

The gloves from the manufacturer HIKENTURE arrive in a modern cardboard box that immediately catches the eye with its bright green and black color. The manufacturer has dispensed with further packaging waste and, above all, plastic film, which is resource-saving and absolutely sufficient for this item. Inside the box are the two gloves. One of the gloves has a branded card with further information and washing instructions. The packaging makes a sturdy and high-quality impression. An additional product description with the most important benefits of the gloves as well as the manufacturer’s contact information and recycling instructions on the back of the packaging make a very good first impression.

ℹ️ Before we start the practical test, we take a close look at the workmanship of the products. How high quality are the materials used? Are the look and feel satisfactory?

These gloves have a modern, neon yellow and black design and make a good visual impression. This is also confirmed haptically by the high-quality materials. The workmanship is also good overall. We found small, loose thread ends at two seams, but these do not restrict the stability and function of the gloves in any way. The gloves remained tear-resistant and solid even when subjected to greater physical impact. Unfortunately, the manufacturer does not provide any information on the sustainability of the materials. Although a long service life can be assumed due to the high quality, additional information would be desirable if it existed.

In our practical test, the HIKENTURE brand gloves made a very good impression overall.
The gloves appear stable and tear-resistant. The previously mentioned smaller threads result in a minimal deduction of points, but this does not affect their durability or functionality.
When putting the gloves on, we noticed that they are lined with a very comfortable and soft fabric on the inside. The clever silicone padding absorbs shocks when cycling and therefore also increases comfort. In our test, we found that the Velcro strap for closing the gloves could be a little longer to ensure an optimum fit for every wrist size.
In terms of functionality, the gloves completely fulfill the manufacturer’s advertising promises. In an outdoor test lasting 30 minutes at an outside temperature of around 0°, the gloves not only provided comfortable warmth but also reliable protection against wind and water.
Cleaning the gloves is also very easy, as they are suitable for the washing machine (up to max. 30°). It should be noted, however, that the manufacturer favors hand washing.
In addition to high functionality, the manufacturer also advertises other features. The reflective material is definitely a plus point in the darker seasons. Although we were able to confirm the operation of a touchscreen in our test, it is sometimes difficult to use and is primarily designed for the thumb. Although it was possible to operate the device with the remaining four fingers, it was very awkward.

ℹ️ Finally, we examine how the product compares to the competition. Can it keep up with the competition in terms of price and quality? Would we generally recommend buying it? We also look at the consumer reviews and check whether the critical and positive reviews are actually justified.

On the Amazon platform, consumers rate the product with an average of 4.3 stars. One common complaint is that the touchscreen is rather difficult to use. Many customers like the fact that the gloves are available in an eye-catching color and are very comfortable to wear . In our practical test, we were able to confirm that the gloves are extremely comfortable to wear . At the same time, however, we were also able to confirm that the touchscreen function is rather limited – i.e. it can almost only be used with the thumb.

Prices of up to €60 are charged on the internet for equivalent products. Very inexpensive products are available from around €20 . The gloves from HIKENTURE are therefore currently in the lower price segment with a price of € 28.99. For the quality and performance received, the price-performance ratio isreasonable.
