ℹ️ Here we take a closer look at packaging. Sustainability is becoming an increasingly important factor. In addition, adequate protection of the product must of course also be guaranteed. Are the contents of the packaging complete and does the manufacturer make it as easy as possible for me to use the product straight away?

For our test, the product was delivered in an Amazon box , which was in perfect condition and could be opened without additional tools. Inside the box were the pan protectors, packaged in an attractively designed product box. The product name was decorated with flowers on the front of the box, while the benefits and product features of the pan protectors were listed on the back. The Oeko-Tex certification and recycling symbols were also shown. The box and the pan protectors themselves were in perfect condition. Instructions for use were not included, but the use of the product is relatively self-explanatory.

ℹ️ Before we start the practical test, we take a close look at the workmanship of the products. How high quality are the materials used? Are the look and feel satisfactory?

The product has a very good visual appearance, the colors are rich and correspond to the images, and the product logo is well printed. In terms of workmanship, it can be said that the product is well made and the material is smooth rather than frayed. However, the folding crease remains. The stability of the product is guaranteed by the sturdy polyester felt, it is tear-resistant and can easily be cut to size with scissors. The sustainability of the product is particularly commendable, as it is made from 100% recycled PET bottles.

For the practical test of the LoFelt pan protectors and stacking protectors, we used various pans with different surfaces and weights to check their slip resistance . Unfortunately, the initial assessment that the pan protectors actually tended to slip due to their smooth surface, especially when stacking the pans, was confirmed. This made handling more difficult and could compromise the protection of the pans.
Despite this challenge, we were able to test the versatility of the product. The pan protectors proved to be an effective scratch and heat protector, proving their functionality. The ease of care of the pan protector was also a plus point, as it could be easily cleaned at 30 degrees on a wool wash cycle.
In addition, the adaptability of the pan protectors through individual cutting proved to be practical. This means it can be adapted to different pan sizes. The availability in two sizes (L Ø 32 cm and XL Ø 38 cm) enabled flexible use according to requirements.
The environmental friendliness of the product was particularly impressive, as the material is made from 100% recycled PET bottles and is also Oeko-Tex Standard 100 certified. This underlines the sustainability and environmental compatibility of the pan protectors.
