The stockings are a practical aid for sports activities as well as for longer trips. The product impresses with different designs in various colors as well as a comfortable feel thanks to the breathable material and special reinforcement in the area of the sole of the foot. As the socks can also be washed at up to 40° in the washing machine, we are impressed by the clever product design . The manufacturer also demonstrates its commitment to sustainability with its OEKO-TEX STANDARD 100 certification and CO2-neutral production, leaving nothing to be desired in this respect either.

The aZengear compression stockings arrive in compact plastic packaging. This is printed in a simple, dark green design. On the back, in addition to various product features, there is also a size chart and important washing instructions. The packaging offers good protection for the product and can be reused to store the socks thanks to a snap closure. A more environmentally friendly choice of material would be desirable.
Inside the packaging are the two stockings and instructions for use in common languages (German, English, French, Spanish, Italian). The manufacturer also provides a card with information about other products and contact information for customer support, which can be contacted if you have any questions about the product. Cute little stickers from the manufacturer’s associated environmental program are also included as a bonus and complete the picture of a very good first impression.

After unpacking, we take a closer look at the product itself.
It is noticeable that we cannot find any flaws in the workmanship, either visually or haptically. All the seams look neatly finished and there are no other defects to be found. The visual appearance is therefore flawless and can be rated as very good.
The stockings themselves are soft, comfortable and elastic, but at the same time robust. The stockings retain their shape even after being pulled hard, which means that the product is also convincing in terms of stability.
However, the product is particularly impressive in terms of sustainability. The manufacturer advertises OEKO-TEX STANDARD 100 certification and CO2-neutral production of the stockings, which underpins the positive impression of the product.

The compression stockings from the aZengear brand were also convincing in our practical test. At the same time, it should be noted that our test cannot cover any medical aspects.
First of all, the product impresses with its minimalist design. Different variants offer the customer a visual variety in terms of color choice. The manufacturer offers a total of three different sizes, which are divided into the categories S/M, L/XL and XXL. In our test, we noticed that this categorization may have a strong influence on the individual compression effect. Although the stockings adapt to the wearer’s foot/calf thanks to the elastic material, a more differentiated size selection might be desirable to ensure consistent tension.
Regardless of this, the product is completely convincing in terms of wearing comfort. The fabric feels very soft, breathable and pleasant on the skin. A special reinforcement in the area of the sole of the foot additionally supports this feeling, so that there is no discomfort even when worn for long periods. In our test, we also used these socks for running – the socks scored particularly well here with their comfortable fit and breathable material.
We were also pleasantly surprised by the freedom of movement that the socks offered despite the promised compression effect. Even during a longer running session, we didn’t notice any restriction while running. Even after taking them off, there were no unpleasant pressure points on the leg. However, this impression may vary depending on the size of the product and the body measurements of the tester.
The compression socks are suitable for cleaning in the washing machine on washing programs up to 40°. This is generally sufficient for everyday use. For heavy soiling or for even gentler care, the manufacturer also recommends hand washing. As we are unable to record long-term developments with this test, we rely on the information provided by the manufacturer, who advertises extraordinary durability .
All in all, the product fully lives up to the manufacturer’s advertising promises. We can confirm the positive first impression of the compression stockings, which is why we give them a very good overall rating.

On the Amazon platform, consumers rate the product with an average of 4.2 stars. Customers criticize the fact that the stockings are rather unsuitable for health purposes. On the other hand, the pleasant material is positively emphasized. In our practical test, we cannot make any predictions about the medical effect of the stockings. However, we can confirm that they are comfortable to wear.
Prices of up to €18.99 are charged on the Internet for equivalent products. Very inexpensive products are available from as little as €12.99 . The compression stockings from aZengear are therefore currently in the middle price segment with a price of €15.99. For the quality and performance received, the price-performance ratio is very good.
