The PUR cot makes a positive impression as soon as it is unpacked. The sturdy cardboard box offers sufficient protection during transport. Although unnecessary packaging waste has been avoided, the use of polystyrene could possibly be a point of criticism for some consumers. The product packaging contains the individual components of the 60×120 cm baby cot as well as assembly tools. There is also a small label with a QR code that leads to the illustrated instructions for use and assembly in German.

As part of our practical test, we tested the PUR baby cot in detail and documented the results using the specified test methods. The product impresses with its flexible and customisable design. It is height-adjustable in 9 positions, making it easy to adjust to the height of the parents’ bed and can therefore also be used as a co-sleeper . The stable frame construction with fixed screw connections ensures safety. In addition, the cot fulfils the strict safety standards according to EN 716-1 and EN 716-2. The bars provide a safe distance and the option of removing three safety bars or an entire side makes it easier for the child to get in and out. However, it should be noted that the 31.5 cm wide opening is not sufficient for every child. Finally, the quick and easy assembly makes the PUR cot an excellent choice for parents who value quality and safety.

On the Amazon platform, consumers rate the product with an average of 4.4 stars. The somewhat small opening when removing three bars is occasionally criticised. On the other hand, the ease of assembly, high-quality workmanship and friendly customer service are emphasised positively. We were able to confirm the positive points in our practical test. We also find the 31.5 cm exit too narrow for some children.
Prices of over €300 are charged on the Internet for equivalent products. Very affordable products are available from as little as €90 . The Ehrenkind® PUR baby cot in the size 60 x 120 cm is therefore currently in the lower price segment with a price of € 159. For the quality and performance received, the price-performance ratio is very good.
