PEAQUE fitness towel in the test 2024

The fitness towel from PEAQUE reaches us folded up very small in a very compact film bag. As no special product protection requirements are necessary for this item, we consider the very compact and minimalist packaging to be positive and resource-saving. A sustainable alternative to plastic film might be desirable.
Enclosed in the film is a card from the manufacturer with contact information and cleaning and care instructions. If you have any questions or criticism, please contact the customer support team. We consider the product to be self-explanatory, which is why instructions for use would be superfluous.

On closer inspection of the fitness towel, the product is convincing without any restrictions. The design of the product looks modern and coherent, with the zip pocket and the loop at the bottom of the towel particularly catching the eye.
No faults can be found in the workmanship. The seams are neat and tidy, the zip runs smoothly and does not block. There are also no loose threads or excess fabric, which speaks in favour of high-quality workmanship. We were also unable to detect any chemical odours or similar in this product.
Both the material of the towel and the seams appear very stable and resistant. They withstand an initial, short stress test without any problems, so the product scores highly here too.
The manufacturer’s commitment to sustainability is particularly impressive. In addition to offsetting the CO2 emissions generated during transport, national reforestation projects are supported with every purchase of a towel.

In our practical test, the fitness towel from the manufacturer PEAQUE was also convincing with almost no restrictions.
On closer inspection, we first realise that the dimensions specified by the manufacturer are met. Compared to other towels of this size, the rather low weight is a positive feature. It can also be folded up very compactly without any problems, which is an absolute plus point for everyday transport.
However, this in no way affects the quality of the material . The lightweight microfibre material is pleasant and comfortable. At the same time, it proves to be surprisingly tear-resistant and dimensionally stable in the load test. The product is more than suitable for its intended use. Before the first wash, however, we noticed that the fabric quickly becomes electrically charged when dry, but this is only a minor limitation.
The product is also completely convincing in the moisture test . Thanks to the choice of material, the water is absorbed very quickly and completely in our test. Drying is also relatively quick.
During actual use in the gym, we were particularly impressed by the zip pocket at the head end of the towel. A notebook, pen, bunch of keys and a 0.5 litre water bottle can easily be stored in it, which makes transporting these items between the individual machines much easier. In our opinion, the only limitation is the choice of material for the bag. The manufacturer uses a mesh material for the inside of the bag, which is not apparent in the promotional photos. Nevertheless, the bag is sturdy and suitable for everyday use.
According to the manufacturer, the towel can be cleaned in the washing machine at up to 40° . In our test, the towel retained its rectangular shape and vibrant colour. The subsequent drying process was comparatively quick. Alternatively, hand washing is of course also possible.
All in all, in our opinion, the manufacturer impresses with a high-quality, high-quality towel that can be an enormous asset for everyday use in the gym.
