Ready for use in just a few minutes, the batteries offer comprehensive protection against overpressure, overtemperature, overcurrent and overvoltage, thus ensuring the safety and longevity of the devices used. Another plus point is the high compatibility of the batteries, which makes them suitable for a wide range of devices, including digital cameras, torches, microphones, motion detectors, GPS devices and many other household appliances. With a constant energy output and a capacity of 1600 mAh, the CR123A lithium batteries deliver reliable performance even under extreme conditions, from -40°C to +85°C. The long service life and low self-discharge, which enable a shelf life of up to 10 years, emphasise the quality and efficiency of this product. We used a multimeter to check the voltage and current. The measured voltage was 3.24 V (manufacturer’s specification: 3 V) and the current was 5.53 A. Although we are not yet able to provide long-term durability data due to the short test period, the durability during our use was optimal and indicates reliable performance of the lithium batteries.
However, the product is not rechargeable and is not suitable for Arlo cameras, which the manufacturer explicitly points out in the product description.

On the Amazon platform, consumers rate the product with an average of 4.5 stars. In individual cases, there are complaints that the lithium battery discharges too quickly or arrives already discharged. Other customers did not have this problem and were able to use the lithium batteries for their intended purpose without any problems. In our practical test, we measured the respective charge status of the lithium batteries and could not detect any discharge. A long-term test should show to what extent the product will last over a longer period of time.
Prices of up to €16 are charged on the internet for equivalent products. Very cheap products are available from as little as €9 . The CR123A 3V lithium batteries from AHJ are therefore currently in the lower price segment with a price of €10.99. For the quality and performance received, the price-performance ratio is very good.
