The first impression of Dripl’s Dyson mop attachment is very positive. The product was well packaged and protected, with no scratches or damage. The packaging was appropriate for the size of the product, avoiding unnecessary packaging waste. Unfortunately, the mop attachment was packaged with a plastic film, this could be replaced with a more environmentally friendly alternative. The packaging contains the wiping attachment, 6 wiping pads, 1 measuring cup, 1 filling container and an instruction manual in German including a QR code, which ensures user-friendly handling. The manufacturer has taken care to provide clear and comprehensive instructions that make it easier to commission and use the product.

Our practical test confirms that the Dripl mop attachment largely lives up to the manufacturer’s promise. The wiper attachment could be fitted without any effort and without any problems. Once fitted, the attachment sat perfectly and firmly in the holder and only minimal force was required to attach it. The stability of the attachment was very satisfactory, the wiper attachment remained firm and stable even under load, with no signs of movement or loosening.
The manoeuvrability of the mop attachment is simple and easy on all floor types, without resistance or difficulty. The appliance is equally flexible and adaptable on laminate, tiles and parquet. The mop head is flexible with minimal restrictions, only in very tight areas can slight difficulties occur, but these hardly affect performance.
The mop pads are easy to remove, clean and reattach. After cleaning and drying, the material retains its original shape and function. It is important to note that the mop pad is not designed to soak up liquids. Water droplets that escape from the water tank are directly absorbed by the mop pads. The mop pads should therefore only be lightly moistened so that they do not drip.
Overall, our practical test confirmed this experience: The Dripl mopping attachment offers high cleaning performance and user-friendliness, even if the mopping speed and liquid absorption could be optimised.
