The jute rope from Seilwerk STANKE is made from 100% natural jute fibres and is characterised by its environmental friendliness. It is light, hard-wearing and weather-resistant. Its pleasantly soft surface makes it versatile. The hand-twisted rope is ideal for tug-of-war, barriers and handrails. It has also been impregnated with petroleum to improve its properties.
The jute rope tested had a diameter of 30 mm, a length of 5 m and a load capacity of 766 kg.
However, it is available in various diameters and offers a wide range of applications in agriculture, construction and as a creative element for interior design ideas.

The first impression of the packaging and contents of the jute rope from Seilwerk STANKE is positive.
The jute rope from Seilwerk STANKE is supplied in a plastic bag to protect the product from moisture during transport. It is very easy to grip and has a high frictional resistance.
Folded and tied up, it takes up very little space despite its 5 metre length. It is also much lighter than it looks, but still very sturdy.
No unpleasant odour could be detected when opening the packaging, apart from the inherent smell of the jute soaked in petroleum.

The rope also impresses with its flawlessness and an acceptable odour in the raw version. The high load-bearing capacity can be surmised just by looking at the jute rope.
With a diameter of 30 mm and a length of 5 metres, it is well suited for various applications and its good quality means that the possible uses seem unlimited.

On the Amazon platform, consumers rate the product with an average of 4.6 stars. In some cases, the odour of the jute rope is criticised. On the other hand, the softness , stability and high quality are emphasised positively. In our practical test, we were able to confirm that the good workmanship and the pleasantly soft feel of the jute rope were well received by customers. However, consumer criticism of the rope’s inherent odour was not justified.
