The 100m Cat7 installation cable from the RedStar24 brand impresses with its outstanding performance and versatility. This cable is ideal for high-performance networks as it enables data transfer rates of up to 10 Gbit/s and is suitable for both private and commercial purposes. It fulfils the ISO/IEC 11801 and EN 50575:2014 standards and is therefore perfect for Power over Ethernet (PoE/PoE+), ISDN and Ethernet cabling. The first-class shielding and the use of premium copper for optimum conductivity should be emphasised on the positive side. On the negative side, however, the rigidity of the cable can make installation somewhat more difficult.

The packaging was adapted to the size of the product and did not contain any unnecessary packaging material. Product protection was guaranteed as the cable arrived without scratches or soiling. The packaging was made of cardboard, which is an environmentally friendly aspect. The installation cable itself was included in the scope of delivery; instructions for use were not included, but were not necessary.

Although there is no specific information on sustainability, the high-quality choice of materials indicates a high level of durability. In the practical test, the Cat7 installation cable from RedStar24 was able to fulfil all the advertising promises. The length measurement showed exactly the specified length of 100 metres. A visual inspection of the sheathing revealed no damage or irregularities; the surface was smooth and undamaged. Even after a temperature resistance test, a UV resistance test and a water resistance test, there were no visible changes or damage. It fulfils all the requirements of a premium cable for high-speed data transmission.
