The Curl product from the Firell® brand is a tabletop fireplace that can be used indoors and outdoors .

The fact that every product variant has been tested by EUROLAB in accordance with DIN standard EN 1647 is a positive aspect. This testing has proven that they are safe to use indoors.
The product includes a concrete base, three safety glasses, two combustion chambers (large and small), an overflow protection container, a polished chrome plate, an extinguishing rod and feet .
According to the seller, this product is able to generate the heat of up to 21 tea lights over a burning time of approx. 120 minutes, so that the surroundings are noticeably heated up. The heat output is 740 watts per filling.
The solid concrete base ensures a high level of safety, as the product is stable and robust.
This product is supplied in a high-quality gift box.
In the practical test, the swirling flame that can be generated when the table fireplace is in operation was particularly noticeable: the special arrangement of the glass panes causes the flame to rotate with an air flow, making it look like a small tornado.

This product was delivered in a very compact box .
It is immediately noticeable that the individual components are tightly packed to prevent damage during transport.
All product components are packed again in small boxes inside the product carton to ensure optimum product protection . Unnecessary plastic waste has been completely avoided.
In addition to detailed instructions for use, there are also clearly labelled warnings with red hazard symbols to indicate which type of incorrect use can be very dangerous. The instructions for use are printed in German and English.
Even if this is self-evident and there are corresponding instructions in the instructions for use, a clearly visible notice on the outside of the box stating that the product is not suitable for children would be a useful addition to the product.

The heavy overall weight of the product is noticeable as soon as it is unpacked.
A positive feature is the solid concrete base, which plays a key role in ensuring safety when operating the table fireplace.
The individual stainless steel components are of a very high quality and also look elegant.
The overflow protection supplied also ensures the safety of the product.
The safety glass also has a high-quality finish and is of an appropriate thickness.
The extinguishing rod included with the product appears robust at first glance and is perfectly matched to the dimensions of the other product components.
The coating (anti-slip feet) makes a solid impression, which further enhances the stability and sturdiness of the product.
No further information was provided by the seller with regard to sustainability – however, due to the overall high-quality appearance of the material components , it can be assumed that the table fireplace can be used for a long time .

This product was subjected to an extensive practical test .
The flame size can be determined depending on which combustion chamber is selected in advance . The respective selected size then affects the total burning time. The practical test showed that the burning time is approximately as specified by the seller.
Three replacement feet are included in case an anti-slip foot is missing from the bottom of the concrete base.
The combustion chamber may only be filled when cold and only with liquid bioethanol. Filling was easy and quick in the practical test. The combustion chamber is then ignited and the safety glass is placed on top. The full flame height only develops gradually.
In the practical test, the beautiful and stable, swirling flame of the product was particularly noticeable, the table fireplace is very nice to look at during operation and a good addition for mild summer nights.
During operation, a very pleasant heat emission was also noted.
Thanks to the design of the safety glass, it is possible to see the flame clearly at all times . The flame can be extinguished immediately using the extinguishing rod.
Overall, this is a well-designed and very high-quality product. Thanks to the instructions for use and the safety information provided, low-risk use of the product can be guaranteed.
