The WitaTrap® codling moth trap set offers an effective solution for natural plant protection in the home and garden. The pheromone traps included have been specially developed to reduce pests such as harmful butterflies and beetles on crops.
The set consists of a trap body (WitaTrap® Delta Super trap), two separately packaged glue bases, two pheromone stubs, a suspension wire and detailed instructions for use. A particular advantage of the product is the clear and comprehensible instructions, which make installation easy. The visual appearance of the trap set is appealing and understated . The packaging is clearly organised. The workmanship of the product is of high quality and demonstrates careful production. The materials have no visible defects and the glue application is even and functional. The phermone stubble is easy to stick on and stays securely in place without falling off, and the glue remains sticky and effective over a long period of time . WitaTrap® makes no claims about sustainability, but scores highly with 100% natural plant protection. This contributes to an environmentally friendly and sustainable solution.

The practical test of the WitaTrap® trap set apple wrapper has shown that the manufacturer’s advertising promises are fully realised. The user-friendliness of the product is remarkable, as the instructions are clear, understandable and logically structured. All steps are comprehensible and well illustrated, so that error-free assembly is possible even for inexperienced users.
The assembly of the traps is very simple, all parts fit together perfectly and the traps can be assembled quickly and easily. No difficulties or ambiguities were encountered during the entire assembly process and the overall time was well below the expected average.
The safety of the traps should also be emphasised. There are no sharp edges, the construction is stable and there is no attraction for children or pets. There are no dangerous situations or risks of injury.
The attractant used is organic and natural, odourless and therefore not irritating. No significant differences in odour perception have been detected, either during the day or at night.
The spare parts in the set have an excellent shelf life and show no signs of degradation or loss of function. They fully retain their original quality and functionality, so that long-term use of the traps is guaranteed.
Overall, the complete codling moth trap set offers a practical and safe solution for pest control in the garden and fulfils the high expectations placed on such a product.
