The KRAFTKÖNIG clothes moth trap is an effective and environmentally friendly solution for detecting and combating moth infestations in wardrobes, curtains, upholstered furniture and other textiles. The trap uses pheromones to attract moths and thus recognise their presence at an early stage. The visual appearance of the clothes moth trap is appealing and understated . The moth trap is available in white, as in our test, as well as in black. The packaging is clearly laid out. The workmanship of the product is high quality and demonstrates careful manufacturing. The materials are without visible defects, the glue application is even and functional and the glue remains sticky and effective for a long time . Although KRAFTKÖNIG does not make any claims about sustainability, it does score points for being 100% free from harmful toxins and for the trap being effective for up to 3 months. This contributes to an environmentally friendly and sustainable solution.

In practical tests, the effectiveness of the KRAFTKÖNIG clothes moth trap proved to be very high. Almost all the moths found in the wardrobe were successfully caught. Very few new moths or larvae were found during the entire test period, which proves the high effectiveness of the trap, even if complete elimination was not achieved.
Another plus point was the ease of use: the trap was easy to set up, all steps were clearly described and simple to carry out. After installation, the trap worked perfectly.
An important safety aspect is that the trap is free of harmful toxins, which makes it particularly suitable for households with children or pets.
During the entire test period, no unpleasant odours were noticeable, either during installation or when the trap was later used in the cupboard. The space required in the cupboard is minimal and hardly affects use, although the mounting bracket in the cupboard was identified as a weak point, as it is made of simple cardboard and is not very stable.
To summarise, the KRAFTKÖNIG clothes moth trap is an excellent solution for moth control. Its ease of use and high level of effectiveness make it a particularly recommendable choice. The purchase is particularly worthwhile due to the safe and non-toxic application as well as the long-lasting effect.
