The toilet brush with holder from SAVEGA made a good impression in our test.
The toilet brush measures 40 x 7 cm (height x width). The holder, on the other hand, is 15 cm high and has a diameter of 15 cm at its thickest point.
The toilet brush comes in grey and black, giving it an extremely modern look. Thanks to its opaque design, the toilet brush looks great in any bathroom.
The silicone brush head also enables the toilet to be cleaned thoroughly. A particular advantage is that bacteria cannot accumulate on the toilet brush due to its surface texture. Nevertheless, it would be desirable if the holder was more stable, as it slips easily. In our test, we also found that the water in the holder does not dry quickly.

The toilet brush set comes in a black box (see picture) and was delivered in an undamaged Amazon box. The item was also packed very compactly. The packaging box is thick, extremely sturdy and was customised to the exact dimensions of the toilet brush and holder. This has the advantage that the product does not wobble around inside the packaging and is ideally protected from external influences.
The toilet brush holder was also packaged in a plastic bag. This is very advantageous in terms of product protection, as the product is protected from scratches, for example. However, plastic packaging is not sustainable, which is why we had to deduct 15 points in the “Sustainability” category.
In addition to some product features, the product packaging also contains a “made in P.R.C.” label, which indicates that the product was manufactured in China.
All in all, we think the packaging of the toilet brush set is a success. However, we have noticed that the black product packaging is discoloured (see 2nd picture). It would therefore be desirable for the product packaging to be optimised in this respect.

After opening the product packaging, you will find the brush holder (at the top of the picture). Inside this holder is the toilet brush head. The handle is also supplied in two parts (bottom of picture).
Instructions for use are not included with the product. However, this is not absolutely necessary as the use is self-explanatory.
Contact information such as the company name and address can be found on the product packaging. Nevertheless, we had to deduct 30 points in the “customer information” category, as a telephone number and email address for customer service would have been desirable.
As the brush handle has to be screwed together and attached to the brush head by the consumer before use, the product cannot be used immediately after unpacking. For this reason, we had to deduct 10 points.

First of all, it should be mentioned that the colour combination of black and grey is visually very appealing and looks classy.
The toilet brush consists of a silicone brush head and two individual parts of the handle. These must be screwed together by the user before use. Once assembled, the brush is very stable and can then be used for its intended purpose.
A final conclusion on the “sustainability” category can only be drawn after prolonged use. However, due to the very good workmanship and the antibacterial brush head, it can be assumed that the set is durable.
A drip grid integrated into the holder is particularly noteworthy. This separates the brush from the water and allows it to dry better.

After installing the toilet brush, we subjected the set to a practical test.
The brush looks very elegant and modern in the holder. For this reason, the toilet brush set looks great in any bathroom. The design of the brush station is conceived to be as opaque as possible. Although you can still see the brush head from above, you cannot see the dripping water from the outside.
Cleaning the toilet works perfectly with the brush. What’s more, no residue sticks to the silicone brush head.
The quick drying of the toilet brush after use is particularly noteworthy. Thanks to a grid inside the holder, the water can drip off the brush head very easily. This allows the toilet brush to dry quickly.
However, it should be noted that the water that collects underneath the drip grid dries very slowly. The holder also slips very easily, which is why a more stable solution would be an advantage. For example, rubber on the underside of the holder could possibly solve this problem.
All in all, the toilet brush fulfils its purpose and convinced us in the practical test.

On the Amazon platform, consumers have given the product an average rating of 4.3 stars. One common criticism is that the handle starts to rust. Many customers like the fact that the brush cleans very well. In our practical test, we were able to confirm that the toilet brush works very well. We were unable to test whether the handle starts to rust, as this would require a practical test over several months.
Prices of up to €66.20 are charged on the internet for equivalent products. Very inexpensive products are available for as little as €5.26. The toilet brush with holder from SAVEGA is currently priced at €17.99, which puts it in the lower price segment. The price ratio is good for the quality and scope of the product.
