This product is ideal for grooming cats’ claws and is designed to prevent cats from scratching furniture.
The 2-in-1 function of the product should be emphasised as a positive feature: the scratching board has an integrated roller track with a play ball, which encourages cats to occupy themselves.
No plastic was used in the packaging of the product.
A sturdy MDF board ensures that the product is durable and has the necessary stability.
The rotating cardboard ensures that the product can be used for twice as long: as soon as one side is completely worn out, the cardboard can simply be rotated.
This scratching board is a high-quality product with an appealing design that impressed us in practical tests with its robustness and additional play function.

This product was delivered in a cardboard box that was well matched to the product size.
The white product box inside was tightly closed. Inside there is only the scratching board, but instructions for use are not necessary as the product is self-explanatory.
One positive aspect to emphasise is that the seller has completely dispensed with environmentally harmful packaging options such as plastic.

When you pick up the frame of the scratching board for the first time, you immediately notice its weight. The weight indicates a certain stability and durability .
Scratching board is also attached to the outside of the frame so that the product can be used from several sides.
The scratching board itself looks robust and of high quality. Once worn, it can simply be turned over and used with the second, unused side.
The integrated roller track contains a plastic play ball with a loud ringing bell inside. The play ball can be pushed around in the track with the cat’s paw, making it fun for the cat to play with .

The scratching board was subjected to extensive practical testing on a domestic cat and a Norwegian Forest cat.
This product scored particularly well because it is very stable – making it suitable for larger and heavier cats.
In terms of scratching behaviour, it can be observed that the cats can stretch out nicely and scratch vigorously. This is particularly successful due to the elongated shape of the product.
This product is odourless– there is only a very slight smell of cardboard at very close range, but this is not noticeable during use.
When the cats scratch the cardboard, a quiet scratching noise is produced which is not disturbing and is comparable to the volume of the scratching noise on scratching posts.
This product does not need to be assembled – it can be set up anywhere in the house. The two individual components can be placed inside each other in a matter of seconds.
Overall, this product impressed us in the practical test with its robustness and the additional built-in play function.

Prices of up to €34.99 are charged on the Internet for equivalent products. Very cheap products are available from as little as €32.79 . The PAWZONE scratching board is therefore currently in the upper price segment with a price of €39.99. For the quality and performance received, the price-performance ratio is very good.
