In our practical test of the Facile Scriptum compass set , we were able to confirm that the manufacturer largely fulfils its advertising promises. The function of the compass mechanism impresses with its smooth movement without any noticeable resistance, resulting in extremely stable handling. The return force of the springs is perfectly balanced so that the legs immediately return to their starting position.
The precision of the pen guidance is remarkable; the drawn line produces a perfect circular shape without irregularities or deviations. The locking screws also prove to be stable and easy to adjust; they hold their position even after repeated use without loosening or showing resistance.
The angle setting remains stable even with repeated adjustment and demonstrates outstanding precision.
