The DaheimLader TouchPRO from DaheimLaden is a state-of-the-art wallbox with a permanently connected 7.5 metre type 2 charging cable that has been specially developed for electric cars and plug-in hybrids. It supports a wide range of vehicles, including models from VW, Tesla, Hyundai, Kia, Mercedes, Renault and many other manufacturers. The robust design with metal housing, tempered glass front and large 7-inch touchscreen ensures durable and user-friendly operation. Thanks to the innovative DaheimLaden docking station , installation is particularly easy, and an integrated lock protects the wallbox against theft.
Intelligent software functions such as PV surplus charging, overload management and free over-the-air updates keep the wallbox up to date at all times. A MID-compliant electricity meter enables precise consumption measurement and billing, making it ideal for company vehicles and rental properties. Interfaces for LAN, WLAN (Wifi 6) and Modbus TCP offer maximum flexibility and the IP65 protection class makes the wallbox weatherproof for outdoor use.

The first impression of the DaheimLader TouchPRO from DaheimLaden is very positive. The product was very well packaged and protected, with no scratches or damage. The packaging was appropriate for the size of the product, so that unnecessary packaging waste was avoided. The charging station and all accessories were wrapped in plastic film to protect the product. The operating instructions and the app download description are very detailed, include pictures and are written in German. This ensures user-friendly handling . The manufacturer has taken care to provide clear and comprehensive instructions that make it easy to set up and use the product. However, should any problems arise, the manufacturer’s support team will be on hand quickly.

The DaheimLader TouchPRO from DaheimLaden impresses at first glance. The metal housing and the tempered glass front cover give the product an elegant and high-quality look. The wallbox has an intelligent temperature monitoring system and provides protection in the range from -30 degrees to 55 degrees outside temperature. The workmanship is of high quality, resulting in a stable construction and durability. The charging station can be installedboth indoors and outdoors. The cable is available in two different lengths (5m and 7.5m) and either as a permanently connected or connectable mobile charging cable. In addition, extensive safety and residual current sensors are integrated, reflecting the quality and durability of the product.

The DaheimLader TouchPRO fulfilled most expectations in the test. The charging performance is excellent and the charging system works reliably and stably. The error-free communication between the vehicle and wallbox was particularly positive. Despite intensive use, the housing and cable showed no weaknesses or defects. Installation via the docking station was simple and flexible. However, there were some minor weaknesses in the test: the operating instructions supplied were out of date and the older “DaheimLaden” app was no longer functional. With the latest “Click2Charge” app, however, all processes worked smoothly.
However, the wallbox has an idle power consumption of approx. 3.5-3.7 watts in standby mode, which should be optimised. The online and cloud functions initially required adjustments, but DaheimLaden’s customer service was able to resolve these quickly. After troubleshooting, all additional functions such as the creation of charging plans also worked without any problems.
The DaheimLader TouchPRO impresses with its reliable performance, high-quality workmanship and future-proof functions – a good choice for private and commercial users.
