The SOWERUM shower chair with anti-slip mat achieved top marks in practical testing. First, its stability on slippery surfaces was tested. On the wet anti-slip mat, the chair remained completely stable even under load and did not slip, even with sideways movements. The ergonomics of the seat were also impressive: The test person reported a very high level of comfort, both when sitting down briefly and when sitting for longer periods. Standing up was easy and required no effort, as the seat provides optimal support. The height adjustment worked smoothly, although it did require some effort. A lighter mechanism would be desirable for older people. However, all positions were stable and the lock worked reliably. Even after repeated adjustments, there was no sign of wear. The handles provided a secure grip – both with dry and wet hands. They remained stable without wobbling and felt secure at all times. Finally, the structure was checked for sharp edges: no risks were identified either during visual inspection or in practical use.
