The office chair’s packaging proved to be sturdy and well designed in our test. The robust outer carton generally offers reliable protection against transport damage, but did show a few scratches and small holes after transport. Inside, all parts are arranged compactly and securely . All components – from the backrest to the screws – are wrapped in plastic film. Although this provides effective protection against scratches, it does result in a high proportion of plastic. From an ecological point of view, the use of more sustainable materials would be desirable in order to reduce the amount of plastic. Despite the external damage to the packaging, all product components were complete , well and securely stowed, and showed no damage or scratches. The enclosed multilingual instructions were understandable and made assembly much easier. Overall, the packaging offers solid product protection and makes a good overall impression. However, the main potential for improvement lies in the use of packaging materials.

The seams are neatly finished, the materials are evenly processed, and there are no sharp edges or rough transitions. The reinforced base, casters, armrests, and voluminous backrest appear stable and precisely manufactured. The components fit together perfectly, making assembly easy. Once assembled, the chair is stable and wobble-free. The generous seat and wide backrest underline its character, which is designed for comfort and high resilience. The generous, voluminous backrest offers a successful combination of supportive padding and comfort. This makes even prolonged sitting comfortable. The contoured seat cushion distributes body weight evenly and the integrated massage cushion specifically relaxes the lumbar spine. This noticeably increases comfort during longer work sessions. Overall , the chair is comfortable and provides good support. The adjustment mechanisms worked reliably. The height adjustment via the gas spring is smooth, the backrest can be locked in a limited range, and the 360° swivel function and casters run smoothly and evenly on carpet, laminate, and tile. The plastic casters are not completely silent, but they move quietly enough for everyday use. The armrests are stable and comfortable. They can be adjusted in height, but do not offer any further adjustment options in terms of width or angle. The softly padded headrest provides comfortable support for the neck, but cannot be adjusted or tilted, which limits the adjustment options.
