In the test, the chair leg caps appeared clean and carefully packed and arrived safely and undamaged. There are no additional protective elements or dividers inside the box. However, due to the sturdy nature of the silicone caps, this did not stand out as a negative in the test. Nevertheless, simple inner packaging could further improve the overall impression. A printed instruction manual was not included. However, this is not a drawback, as the application is self-explanatory. The chair leg caps are simply slipped over the corresponding furniture legs and are then immediately ready for use. Additional explanations or assembly steps are not required.
Overall, the packaging is practical and functional. The absence of plastic and the secure packaging of the product are positive aspects. However, there is still room for improvement regarding the internal product protection.

No rough edges, material defects, or residue were visible during testing. The silicone is applied evenly and stretches well without giving the impression that it might wear out quickly. The felt on the underside is firmly bonded to the silicone and shows no weak spots. No peeling was observed during testing. A positive aspect is that the chair leg caps are available in various shapes and sizes. This means that suitable options are available for different types of chair legs. The manufacturer does not provide any information regarding sustainability. However, based on the workmanship and overall impression, it can be inferred that the caps are designed for a long service life.

In practical testing, the chair leg caps impressed with their overall secure fit and reliable performance on various hard floors. In daily use, they were easy to slip onto the chair legs and remained firmly and securely in place without slipping or coming loose. Even when the chairs were repeatedly moved, the caps stayed firmly in position. The gliding performance on hard floors was consistently positive. The chairs could be moved smoothly and without noticeable resistance, allowing for quiet and controlled movement. No jamming or uneven gliding occurred during the test. The effect was particularly noticeable in terms of noise reduction. Compared to the untreated state, scratching and sliding noises were significantly reduced. The chairs could be moved across the floor almost silently, which was particularly noticeable in quiet environments. The scratch protection for sensitive floors worked reliably in the test. On the hard floors used, no visible marks or damage were found after either a single or repeated movement. Installation and removal also proved to be straightforward. The caps could be slipped over the chair legs with little effort and, if necessary, removed just as easily without leaving any residue or losing their shape.
