On first contact, the Bächlein shower door seal made a high-quality impression. In the practical test, the Bächlein shower door seal largely lived up to the manufacturer’s advertising promises. The fit on the shower door was perfect and did not require any adjustments apart from shortening, making installation quick and uncomplicated. During showering, the seal provided good sealing performance and only minimal water leaks were detected, although these were hardly significant. There was a slight resistance when opening and closing the door, but this did not affect its functionality. The seal is easy to clean and even after repeated contact with soap residue and shampoo, there was no visible wear or change in material. The Bächlein shower door seal therefore fulfils all the essential requirements for a durable, easy-care and well-sealing solution for modern shower doors.
