When unpacking the couch bar from Makin’Loveable, the product left a positive impression overall. The product was protected by a sturdy cardboard box and bubble wrap, so that no transport damage occurred. The packaging itself is compact and protects the components sufficiently from external influences. Unfortunately , some superfluous packaging waste was noticeable. A certain amount of plastic used to keep the components clean and intact during transport would not have been necessary. Increased use of sustainable materials or a reduction in packaging would be desirable here.the contents of the packaging fully corresponded to the information in the product description. All the components, such as all the snack trays, dip trays and coasters, were included in the packaging and well organised.
Another important point is the instructions for use. Although the product as a whole is self-explanatory, it would have been helpful to have cleaning instructions . Brief instructions would be desirable, especially for the stainless steel parts and the wood, to ensure the longevity of the product. These can be found on the product page on Amazon, but unfortunately not on the shipped product itself.
Overall, however, the couch bar from Makin’Loveable makes a good impression at first glance. The packaging is sturdy and protects the product reliably, even if improvements in the area of sustainability would be desirable. The scope of delivery is complete and allows the product to be used immediately.

At first glance, the couch bar from Makin’Loveable leaves a positive impression.
The appearance is flawless. The surface of the kiri wood is smooth, with no visible flaws or irregularities, and the finish of the wood emphasises the natural aesthetics of the material. The simple, elegant design in black and natural wood look suits various interior styles and is both functional and decorative.
The product is very well made. All parts are carefully manufactured and fit together perfectly. There are no sharp edges or wobbly joints, which indicates high manufacturing quality.
The stability is also very good. The robust cherry wood and the well-made stainless steel trays ensure a high level of stability so that the tray does not wobble or sway even when fully loaded. This is particularly important when the couch bar is used as a drinks holder or snack tray.

In terms of stability, the Makin’Loveable couch bar proved to be very stable in the test, even when fully loaded. However, a tendency to tip over was observed with a heavy load on one side . However, this impairment is minor and hardly affects the overall stability of the product. The couch bar therefore offers reliable stability for normal use.
The product also delivers what it promises in terms of cleaning. The entire couch bar can be easily cleaned with a dry or damp cloth, and the trays can even be cleaned in the dishwasher. No residue or stains remain and the product is quickly clean again.
There is also enough space on the couch bar. Even when fully loaded with snack bowls, dip bowls and drinks, there is still enough space for easy handling.
Another aspect is the noise generated during use. The Couchbar was fully convincing here. No disturbing noises were audible either when placing and removing objects or when moving the product. This makes the Couchbar particularly suitable for relaxed TV evenings where no distraction from rattling bowls or similar is desired.
Finally, we also analysed the safety of edges and corners. No sharp or dangerous edges were found in any of the tests, the visual inspection, the feel test or the load test. The couch bar is therefore safe to use and does not pose a risk of injury.
Overall, our practical test shows that the Couchbar from Makin’Loveable is a stable, easy-to-clean and safe solution for the couch area.
