At first glance, the Olleira FixClip cutlery basket impresses with its attractive and understated design. In our test, we are examining the model with a gray cutlery basket and a gray carrying handle. A version with a green carrying handle is also available. The FixClip fastening mechanism is green in both cases.
The workmanship is high-quality and flawless, with no sharp edges, indicating careful manufacturing. The basket appears sturdy and durable, suitable for use in the dishwasher and heat-resistant up to 120 °C.

In our practical test, we checked the compatibility of the Olleira FixClip cutlery basket with various dishwasher models, such as Bosch, Siemens, and Gorenje, and confirmed that it fits universally. The handle is attached to the basket once via a click system before first use and remains stable even when fully loaded, which underscores the load capacity promised by the manufacturer.
Overall, the basket is very easy to use. Thanks to its open compartments and well-thought-out design, the basket is suitable for everyday use and can be loaded flexibly. The additional fastening clip on the outside of the cutlery basket proved to be a practical and overall positive feature. On all three dishwashers tested, the clip could be easily attached and removed. We can therefore confirm the basket’s excellent holding power and stability in the dishwasher, as stated by the manufacturer.
The basket’s cleaning performance is excellent. Rounded corners prevent dirt buildup, and the super-smooth surface with a lotus effect ensures that the basket is automatically cleaned with every wash cycle.
The basket’s flexibility allows it to accommodate various types of cutlery thanks to six smaller compartments and one larger one, though an additional top-mounted holder would have been desirable. However, this is more of a design choice and should not be viewed negatively.
Overall, we consider the Olleira cutlery basket a practical and well-designed addition if the dishwasher manufacturer’s cutlery basket does not offer satisfactory stability. The product performs impressively in practical testing in every respect.
