About Us

Prüfengel offers authentic consumer tests in which real users share their experiences with products. Our tests are based on practical applications in everyday life and reflect the opinions of consumers. As we focus on consumer tests, we do not carry out any material, long-term or laboratory tests. The tests are carried out by 1-2 independent consumers over a period of 7-14 days. The exact test conditions can be viewed in the test plan of the respective test report – click here to go directly to the test plan.

Manufacturers provide the tested products free of charge. We charge a one-off test fee for carrying out the tests. In addition, manufacturers pay an annual licence fee for the use of the Prüfengel seal. We also receive a commission for linking to manufacturers’ websites. These remunerations have no influence on our test results or ratings.

The fabric markers were delivered in a cardboard box that was well-suited to the size of the product. Upon unpacking, the attractive design of the product box immediately stands out. A positive point worth highlighting is that no environmentally harmful materials, such as plastic, were used in the packaging of the fabric markers. No separate instruction manual is included, but one is not needed, as the product is self-explanatory.

When you open the product box, the pen caps in various colors are immediately visible . It quickly becomes clear that the total of 40 colors covers a wide color spectrum . This encourages colorful drawing and gives children a nice selection.
The pens themselves are easy to handle, so it’s safe to assumethey’re well-suited for bothchildren’s and adults’ hands .
A test of the pen caps showed that they fit securely on the pens and do not come off too easily. At the same time , however, they can be opened by children with minimal effort.
Overall , the fabric markers make a high-quality first impression.

The fabric markers were thoroughly tested as part of a comprehensive application test . The results showed that the ink absorbs into the fabric after just a short time. However, direct contact with the painted area should be avoided during the first few minutes. For optimal results , a drying time of about one day is recommended . Even after several wash cycles at 30°C, the color intensity remained intact, and the painted textiles continued to appear vibrant and rich in color. The colors come to life especially on light-colored fabrics and impress with their high vibrancy. The fine tip ensures precise lines and allows for detailed designs. As a result , the pens are equally suitable for creative projects by both children and adults and can also be used by artists on surfaces other than fabric. When drawing, the pens produce an even line and color with a nearly constant line width. Additionally, the pens’ shape fits comfortably in the hand and offers ease of use for both smaller and larger hands.

In practical testing, the fabric markers impressed particularly with their very intense color payoff across nearly all colors.
