In our test, the wall mount for Makita batteries and chargers from trand made a very good impression. With the hanging battery holder, up to four batteriesand two single chargers or a double charger can be stored in a space-saving manner and within easy reach. The wall mount consists of a 6 mm thick HPL compact panel that provides an ideal slotted rail for easy insertion and wobble-free storage of the batteries. It is quickly and securely mounted to the wall with the enclosed mounting material. The product is also“Made in Germany“.
If required, this wall bracket can be extended with additional wall brackets.

The wall mount from trand arrived in the typical shipping box. The box was undamaged and well sealed with adhesive tape. Excess storage space in the outer box was filled with paper. The box contained the packaging with the product. The associated fixing materials such as screws, wall plugs, wall spacers and covers were packed in a small plastic bag for protection.
Unfortunately, the packaging of the product is not completely recyclable, but the product was fully protected and the wall bracket was therefore in perfect condition.
The first impression is good, as neither the product nor the packaging used was damaged.

The product box contains the wall bracket as well as the matching fastening material, which consists of four screws with wall spacer sleeves, high-quality Fischer plugs, additional screws and rubber sleeves for stable fastening of the batteries and chargers. Cover caps are also included to conceal unused drill holes.
The assembly instructions are also included in the product box. The instructionsare very clearly explained in German and English with pictures and should leave no questions unanswered. The address information is provided in full on the product box and in the installation instructions. A telephone number for the company, which would have been desirable, is not provided. The customer is kindly referred to the support with reference to the e-mail address.
All in all, this is an exceptionally well thought-out and customer-friendly way of sending a product.

With its simple, light gray design, this 43 cm long battery and charger holder fits into any workshop. The wall bracket consists of a 6 mm thick HPL compact panel. It offers space for up to four batteriesand two single chargers or one double charger from Makita. The screws, dowels and spacers supplied are made of high-quality material.
The associated spacershave a depth of 2 cm, so that the wall bracket has approx. 2 cm space to the wall. The holes for attaching the bracket to the wall and for the chargers are pre-drilled on the plate.
Due to the high quality , a long service life can be expected.

The battery wall bracket can be firmly and securely attached to the wall using the pre-drilled holes and the installation instructions. The rubber sleeves for the charger can also be easily attached to the plate. By removing the rubber feet on the underside of the charger, it can be placed on the plate and secured there using the screws. The charger is then securely and firmly installed. It can only be removed from the back of the holder.
Overall, installation is simple and can be carried out without any major effort.
However, it would be desirable to choose one type of screw – eitherPhillips or Torx – rather than using both.
In short, it is a simple but effective tool for keeping your workshop and garage tidy.

On the Amazon platform, consumers have given the product an average rating of 4.6 stars. One common criticism is that the mounting plate for two chargers does not hold with the material supplied. Many customers like the fact that the holder fits Makita batteries perfectly and is made of high-quality material. In our practical test, we were able to confirm that it really is a high-quality wall mount. Unfortunately, only 18 V batteries fit into the recesses, as is often criticized.
Prices of up to €43.99 are charged on the Internet for equivalent products. Very inexpensive products are available from as little as €31.99. With a price of €49.90, the wall mount from trand is currently in the upper price segment. The price ratio is reasonable for the quality and scope of services you get.
