The transfer pump from the ATHELON brand is a very versatile product for everyday use. The pump is suitable for both small and medium-sized devices. Whether brush cutter, hedge trimmer, snow blower, motorbike, off-road vehicle or lawn mower – with the exception of large lorries, the product can be used in a variety of ways.
Efficient transfer makes it possible to transfer petrol, oil, water or diesel. The product is not suitable for cooking oil, drinking water, salt water or other chemical or corrosive liquids.
The optimal size of the product ensures that it is easy to transport and store.
In practical tests, the decanting pump impressed with its ease of use: the extra-large pump ball (15 cm) and high flow rate make decanting or pumping liquids effortless. The enclosed, illustrated instructions make it easy to use.
The ATHELON transfer pump ispenalised in terms of sustainability: plastic was used in the packaging of the product – improvements could still be made here, for example by using biodegradable packaging components .

The ATHELON transfer pump was supplied in a sturdy, customised product box.
The product includes all the necessary components : a suction pump, two fixing clamps, a fluid regulator and a kink-free two-metre hose.
With the exception of the hose, all product components were inside a large plastic bag. In terms of sustainability, it would be desirable for the packaging to be reviewed again and changed to more environmentally friendly options .
The enclosed instructions for useshould be emphasised as a positive feature: step-by-step pictures clearly explain how to use the transfer pump. Another plus point is the note on the back, which provides information on where the pump can be used and for which applications it is not suitable.

After the first touch of the product, it becomes clear that these are high-quality product components.
The hose has a suitable diameter to allow enough liquid to pass through. The liquid regulator is a moulded plastic part that looks solid from the outside. The suction pump is extra large and presumably ensures that the liquid can be pumped easily.
The fact that the hose has no kinks is apositive feature. The pump has a high-quality feel and generates good pressure even at medium pressure .
Overall, the individual product components make a positive first impression and the workmanship of the materials indicates the durability of the product.

The transfer pump was tested in practice with water.
The flow rate and leakage safety stood outpositively in the test: The diameter of the hose allows the liquid to be transferred quickly. Leakage safety is ensured by fastening with the fixing clips supplied. The liquid regulator and a fine sieve integrated into the product also help to ensure that decanting is successful and the surrounding area remains dry.
Thanks to the illustrated step-by-step instructions supplied, application is easy and the product is quickly ready for use.
The individual product components are of high quality. The hose impresses with its thickness and robustness, while the suction pump has enough resistance to generate the required internal suction pressure.
When using the pump, it is important that a height difference of approx. 50 cm is maintained when decanting.
Decanting is almost noiseless, only the pumping makes a quiet noise, which is not disturbing.

On the Amazon platform, consumers rate the product with an average of 4.2 stars. In some cases, there is criticism that the hose is shorter than stated by the seller.
