In our practical test, the Steinzeit cereal bowls proved to be a practical product that is suitable for everyday use. Firstly, the bowls impress with their attractive and elegant design. They are also stable, relatively solid and pleasant to grip, even when the surface is wet. This makes them reliable and safe. The 750ml capacity specified by the manufacturer is a convenient size for many different uses. The manufacturer’s choice of material allows the bowls to be used in the dishwasher, microwave and oven. In our test, the product was only criticised for its somewhat slippery underside. The manufacturer’s sustainability information on the product would also be desirable. However, this only detracts slightly from the overall very good test result, meaning that we consider the cereal bowls to be a recommendable product for kitchen furnishings.

The Steinzeit cereal bowls make a very good first impression as soon as they are unpacked. They arrive in a sturdy, black cardboard box. Foam mats on all sides and between the individual bowls ensure safe transport and adequately protect the product from falls and other damage. The use of sustainable resources might be desirable at this point, although the foam mats used are required for product protection.
The package contents are complete with six trays and a lovingly designed instruction manual with appealing graphics. The overall pictureis harmonious and of high quality.

When you first take a closer look at the bowls, their appealing design is impressive. The black bowl is smooth and even on the inside and covered with a grey pattern on the outside. This makes the bowl look both elegant and modern. However, the pattern of the bowl does not cover the entire outside of the bowl but decreases more and more towards the bottom. It is unclear whether this is the manufacturer’s intention, as the product photos do not allow any precise conclusions to be drawn.
However, the design does not affect the good workmanship and stability of the shell. It looks solid and more than capable of withstanding everyday use.
The only thing the manufacturer does not provide is any further information about the product in terms of sustainability. However, the use of high-quality materials , the possibility of multiple use and the manufacturer’s 60-day money-back guarantee emphasise the principle of sustainability.

In our practical test , we analyse the bowl more closely for various aspects that are decisive for its use. We were generally impressed with the handling of the bowl. The bowl is relatively non-slip and comfortable to hold. The increasingly smoother outer surface towards the bottom, as mentioned above, only has a minor effect, so that a firm grip is still possible, even when the bowl is wet.
The shell also looks very sturdy and of high quality. In our test, we can confirm that the shell is very suitable for everyday use . The weight of the bowl and the rather wide design also ensure that it is stable so that the bowl cannot tip over under normal circumstances.
As stated by the manufacturer, the capacity is correct at 750ml. However, the manufacturer advertises very transparently with a “usable capacity” of 500ml. We can also confirm this information. In our test, the stated 500ml filled the bowl so that it could be transported and used without any problems.
The bowl also proved to be neutral in taste and odour in our test. No effects on the food inside can be detected.
Cleaning the bowl is also effortless thanks to the manufacturer’s choice of materials, as the bowl is dishwasher-safe. It should also be mentioned that the bowl can also be used in the microwave and oven .
Overall, we find the muesli bowls to be a product suitable for everyday use with few points of criticism.

On the Amazon platform, consumers rate the product with an average of 4.7 stars. In some cases, the fact that it is perceived as too light is criticised. On the other hand, the elegant and functional design and the high holding power are emphasised positively. In our practical test, we were able to confirm that the elegant and functional design of the door stopper was well received by customers. However, consumer criticism of the door stopper’s weight was not justified.
Prices of up to €59.90 per 6 pieces are charged on the Internet for equivalent products. Very affordable products are available from as little as €23.99 per 6 pieces. The Design Bowl bowls from Steinzeit are therefore currently in the upper price segment with a price of €49.90. For the quality and performance received, the price-performance ratio is very good.
