The packaging of the Challenge DISC Classic from MFT Bodyteamwork GmbH left a positive first impression. It was perfectly matched to the size of the balance board and did not require any superfluous packaging material. The sturdy cardboard box offered sufficient protection during transport. It was particularly pleasing that no plastic was used and that the cardboard was made from recycled material. This emphasises the ecological and sustainable orientation of MFT Bodyteamwork GmbH. In addition to the board, a flyer with information on other products is included. An instruction manual is not included, but is not necessary due to the intuitive handling. In addition, numerous exercises are available on the manufacturer’s website, which are illustrated with instructions in the form of videos.

The Challenge DISC Classic Balance Board impresses with its high quality, which is noticeable as soon as it is packed. The balance board is made of high-quality and robust wood, which guarantees long-lasting and durable use. The workmanship is excellent and shows no signs of defects. The design is appealing and timeless. In addition to the non-slip coating on the top, the board also has rubber feet on the underside to prevent it from slipping during use. The ecological and sustainable quality of the product is particularly positive. According to the manufacturer, the boards are made from environmentally friendly, recycled and renewable raw materials and production takes place in Austria.

Practical test
In the practical test, the Challenge DISC Classic was fully convincing in all areas. In the stability tests on various floor coverings (carpet, tiles, parquet), the board showed perfect grip thanks to the rubber studs on the underside and did not slip, which also makes it suitable for use by older people. The slip resistance of the surface was tested both with socks and barefoot – thanks to the anti-slip coating, it was always safe to stand on. Even without socks, the board feels comfortable. In the load test with different weights, the board did not deform even under high loads. The stability against tipping at different tilt angles was convincing, as the board stood securely at any tilt thanks to the stable base. Finally, the durability test confirmed the solid workmanship through repeated rocking – even after intensive use, there were no signs of wear.
