Evocapil ‘s anti-hair loss spray is a clinical product that has been specially developed to help combat hair loss after a successful hair transplant. It contains a variety of highly effective active ingredient complexes that aim to increase the success of the hair transplant procedure. Another advantage of the formula is that it is free from parabens, allergens, fragrances and colourants . Instead, the spray relies on natural ingredients such as biotin and keratin. The effect of the anti-hair loss spray is based on the fact that it revitalises the hair follicles and thus actively prevents hair loss. The only disadvantage is the relatively small product size, which is not particularly economical.

Here we take a closer look at packaging. Sustainability is becoming an increasingly important factor. In addition, adequate protection of the product must of course also be guaranteed. Are the contents of the packaging complete and does the manufacturer make it as easy as possible for me to use the product straight away?

The product arrived for our product test in a neutral shipping box , which was in good condition and easy to open. Inside, the anti-hair loss spray was packed in a cardboard box labelled with the product logo and instructions for use in German and English . There was also a warning on the packaging that the product is only sold through clinics and hair transplant centres. The product packaging appeared to be of very high quality and the design was appealing, immediately evoking associations with a medical product . Inside was the spray with a spray cap. The product label contained the same information as the packaging, which we found practical and well thought out. Overall, the product made a positive and high-quality impression at first glance.

The Anti Hair Loss Dermal Spray is characterised by an exceptionally high concentration of menthol, which at 789 mg/kg is well above the usual market range. Menthol promotes blood circulation and has a cooling effect, which makes it particularly effective against hair loss and for soothing the scalp (see Ahn et al. 2020, p. 1 ff.). The increased concentrations of 1,2-propylene glycol (4.0 g/100g) and 1,3-butylene glycol (2.1 g/100g) support moisturisation and improve the texture of the product. Both ingredients are within acceptable limits and contribute to the suppleness of the scalp. On a positive note, potentially toxic substances such as 1,2-triethylene glycol are not detectable (see WHO 2023, p. 1 ff.), which emphasises the safety of the product. The concentration of glycerine (5.4 g/100 g) is slightly above average and supports the hydration and protection of the scalp (see Trüeb 2005, p. 22). Overall, the spray offers an effective combination of moisturising and circulation-promoting properties that could make it an effective solution for hair loss.
