Test result preview
The mg/dl blood glucose meter from adia is a set specially developed for beginners with a comprehensive range of accessories. With 60 blood glucose test strips, a lancing device, 10 lancets, a diary and a practical bag, the set offers everything you need for daily blood glucose testing. The meter uses the mg/dl unit of measurement, which is particularly common in western Germany. It impresses with its high quality, which complies with the latest DIN standards and is subject to constant quality controls. The manufacturer promises easy handling, a quick result in just 5 seconds and, thanks to autocoding , there is no need for coding when inserting the test strips. Particularly noteworthy is the large memory for 365 test results, which can be saved with the date and time, allowing long-term monitoring of blood glucose levels. The hygienic eject button also prevents direct contact with used test strips. The device can also be connected to a computer via the USB port for data transfer. The small amount of blood required for a measurement of just 0.5 µl is particularly positive. However, it would be desirable if more than 10 lancets were included in the set to facilitate long-term use.
Nevertheless, the device offers a high-quality solution for blood glucose monitoring.

The adia blood glucose meter was thoroughly convincing in the practical test by the Prüfengel Institute. The operating instructions are written in German and three other languages and contain helpful illustrations. All instructions were easy to understand and could be implemented without any problems, so that the device is also suitable for beginners .
Blood collection was virtually painless and efficient thanks to the lancing device supplied. The lancing device can be individually adjusted in five stages to suit different skin conditions. However, it is noticeable that only 10 disposable lancets are included in the set, which makes long-term use difficult. However, these can easily be purchased later.
The measuring device delivered very fast results within 5 seconds, which were easy to read on the illuminated display. The backlight makes the device easy to read even in poor lighting conditions.
With 365 memory locations, the meter enables comprehensive monitoring of blood glucose levels, which makes it particularly useful for people with diabetes. In addition, the device has a hygienic eject button that ensures safe disposal of the test strips without having to touch them by hand.
Overall, the blood glucose meter from adia lives up to its advertising promises and impresses with its ease of use, fast measurement results and hygienic application.
The adia blood glucose meter is a reliable and easy-to-use option that is particularly suitable for beginners.
