In the practical test, the boot dryer with hot air from Snowpea was largely able to fulfil its promises.
The noise level during operation was found to be pleasant and the measured decibel values were within the tolerances specified by the manufacturer. Only the fan noise is audible, but is not perceived as annoying . The ease of use was also rated positively . With just one control button, handling is simple and intuitive. However, it would be an advantage if the operating instructions were also available in German to maximise safety and user-friendliness.
Testing of the cable and plug revealed no abnormalities. The cable length of 1.6 m is sufficient and no visible damage or defects were found. The heat distribution in the boot was also very good thanks to the flexible hoses that can be extended up to 20 cm. Regardless of the type of boot, whether ski boots, trainers or gloves, even heating was achieved without any cold or overheated spots.
Thanks to its compact size , the appliance is ideal for travelling, can be easily stored in bags and transport containers and is safe and easy to handle.
Overall, the boot dryer fulfilled most of the requirements promised in the advertising and performed reliably in the test. The Snowpea boot dryer is a good choice for anyone looking for an efficient, compact and user-friendly boot drying solution . However, a few small improvements could optimise the product even further.
