The high light intensity of the rear light ensures optimum illumination and better visibility in road traffic, which offers a considerable safety advantage, especially in the dark. Installation and removal is quick and easy, so that the light can be flexibly attached to different types of bike. On the bike types tested – both road and city bikes – the rear light was compatible and fitted securely and firmly without loosening or shifting, even in the event of heavy impacts. Operation of the switch is intuitive, making the Lichtmeister rear light effortless to use. Overall, all of the manufacturer’s promises are fulfilled in full. The user is offered a reliable and easy-to-use solution for safe riding at night.

On the Amazon platform, consumers rate the product with an average of 4.7 stars. In some cases, the fact that the rear light does not offer a daytime option, in which only the brake light is active without the continuous lighting, is criticised. On the other hand, the good visibility and the brake light function in general are emphasised positively. In our practical test, we were able to confirm that the Lichtmeister rear light with its brake light function is well received by customers. Consumer criticism of the lack of a daytime running light version can be interpreted more as a suggestion for improvement.
