Manufacturer’s product description
The Kunu “Theo” baby bouncer is aimed at parents who are looking for an ergonomic, mobile and safe solution for their baby. Thanks to the integrated newborn insert, it can be used from day one and impresses with its natural rocking function without a motor. Particularly positive features include the non-toxic and easy-care materials and the fact that it is easy to transport thanks to its bag and folding function.
However, there is also room for improvement in some areas. For example, more sustainable packaging would have been desirable. In addition, the mobile is somewhat awkward to assemble and disassemble. Another point of criticism is the discrepancies between the instructions for use and the manufacturer’s website.
Overall, the Kunu baby bouncer is a well-designed solution for modern parents who value safety, comfort and everyday practicality.

The Kunu “Theo” baby bouncer was delivered in secure packaging and arrived undamaged. However, we were disappointed by the heavy use of plastic film, which detracts from the sustainability aspect. The package contents are complete. Included are a baby bouncer with frame and cover, a newborn insert, a mobile with removable figures, a carrying bag and detailed instructions for use in German and English with pictures and comprehensive safety information. However, there is a critical discrepancy between the instructions and the manufacturer’s website: the instructions recommend use up to 6 months and hand washing with cold water, while the website recommends use up to 24 months and machine washing at 60°C. These contradictions can cause uncertainty among parents and should be urgently corrected.

The Kunu “Theo” baby bouncer is visually appealing thanks to its modern, elegant design. The metal frame with an elegant wood look is particularly successful, giving the bouncer a high-quality character. No defects were found in the workmanship either: no manufacturing faults, no chemical odour and confirmation of compliance with standard EN 12790-2:2023 inspire confidence in its safety. The stability of the baby bouncer was also confirmed in practical testing: it stands firmly and does not tip over even with vigorous movement. There is no information on the sustainability of the product, but the quality of the materials used suggests a long service life. The baby bouncer is therefore a safe and stylish addition to everyday family life, both functionally and visually.

In practical use, the Kunu “Theo” baby bouncer lived up to its promises. Its stable footing without any tilting was particularly impressive – an essential point for safety. The height can also be easily adjusted to three different positions at the touch of a button, even during use.
The product is ideal for mobile parents: it can be easily folded up and stored in the carry bag. Cleaning also proved to be straightforward – even when washing by hand, stains are easy to remove.
The only criticism is that the mobile is difficult to attach and remove, which can be particularly problematic with a baby in the rocker. On the positive side, however, it can be moved slightly, giving parents flexible access. Overall, the practical test confirms the high level of user-friendliness and suitability for everyday use.
