The cardboard is made from recycled material, which is to be welcomed from a sustainability perspective. The contents of the package include the rotary tiller and a well-structured instruction manual in German and French. The operating instructions are clearly written and help you to assemble the rotary tiller and put it into operation. All the necessary parts were included and assembly was quick and straightforward. The first impression was consistently positive, as the high quality of the BRAST rotary tiller was recognisable as soon as it was unpacked.

The tiller has a modern and functional design and its compact construction makes it possible to work and stow away in the tightest of spaces. The workmanship is of high quality: All components are firmly connected to each other and the 24 chipper blades made of durable steel guarantee a long service life even on hard ground. The guard plate also increases work safety as it effectively protects against flying stones.
The ergonomic handle and the additional carrying handle ensure comfortable handling without tiring, even when working for long periods. The cable strain relief is also well thought-out, extending the service life of the cable, preventing possible damage and thus increasing work safety. With a weight of eleven kg, the tiller is relatively heavy, but this gives it additional stability and makes it easier to control when tilling. Sustainability aspects were not directly taken into account, but the high material quality and long-term spare parts supply speak in favour of a long service life for the device.
Overall, the BRAST rotary tiller is characterised by a solid construction and durable materials that guarantee reliable performance and a high level of operating comfort.

In the practical test, the BRAST BRE-AF 1500L electric rotary tiller demonstrated its performance and reliability and received top marks in all test criteria. Safety during commissioning proved to be first class: The cables and plugs were in immaculate condition and the safety switch responded reliably and without delay. The electric motor ran quietly and with little vibration even under load, which further increased comfort and safety during operation.
The stability of the device was also impressive. On level ground, the rotary tiller did not wobble at all and remained completely stable even with increased vibration due to engine operation. In terms of cutting depth and width, the device delivered precise results in accordance with the manufacturer’s specifications, so that the cultivated soil was loosened evenly and thoroughly.
The device also scored highly in terms of manoeuvrability and manoeuvrability. In the turning circle and slalom test, the rotary tiller was easy to guide and mastered changes of direction with great precision, making it easier to handle in uneven or narrow garden areas. The transportability was also impressive: the fold-up transport wheels and the ergonomic carrying handle ensured that the rotary tiller could be easily moved and stowed away to save space.
Overall, the BRAST rotary tiller proved to be powerful, safe and convenient to use in the practical test, making it a reliable helper for the garden.
